Managing Your Availability and Time Off
Everything you need to know about setting your schedule, blocking time off, and staying visible to clients.
Why Availability Matters
Your availability is directly connected to how clients find you. Our matching algorithm only shows providers to clients who have available time slots. If you haven't set your availability, clients won't be matched with you.
Setting Your Weekly Schedule
Go to Availability from your dashboard. The Weekly Schedule tab lets you set recurring time slots for each day of the week.
- Click on a day to add time slots
- Set start and end times for each slot
- Add multiple slots per day if needed (e.g., morning and afternoon)
- All times are shown in your configured timezone
Your weekly schedule repeats every week. For one-off changes, use Busy Blocks instead.
Busy Blocks — Blocking Time Off
The Busy Blocks tab lets you block specific date ranges when you're unavailable. Use this for:
- Holidays and vacations
- Conferences or training
- Personal time off
- Any period when you don't want to receive bookings
Important rules:
- A single busy block can be up to 28 contiguous days (about a month).
- You cannot block dates that overlap with confirmed bookings. Cancel or reschedule those sessions first.
- Busy blocks take priority over your weekly schedule — if a weekly slot falls within a busy block, it won't be shown to clients.
Timezone Handling
Your timezone is set during onboarding. All your availability slots are stored and displayed in your timezone. When clients in different timezones view your availability, the times are automatically converted for them.
If you relocate, contact support@wholeding.eu to update your timezone.
Tips for Managing Availability
- Be consistent — Clients appreciate providers with regular, predictable schedules.
- Keep it updated — Block time off as soon as you know about it, before clients book those slots.
- Start with fewer slots — You can always add more as you get comfortable with the platform.
